Security testing

We run red and blue team exercises on the systems you ask us to test.

The red team tries to get in. The blue team watches for it and closes the gap.

A red team exercise tests your systems the way an attacker would. A blue team exercise tests whether your team and your tools notice the attempt and stop it. Running both shows where you are exposed and how fast you respond.

We tailor each exercise to your business and the scope you ask for, agree the rules with you before we start, and report what we found in plain language. After you fix a gap, we test it again. We stay on call and rerun the tests as your systems change.

What Do Red and Blue Team Exercises Cover?

You set the scope. These are the parts teams ask us to test.

How Do We Run an Exercise?

We start with a scoping session. You tell us which systems are in bounds, which are off limits, and when we may test. We put that in writing before anything runs.

Then we run the exercise, report what we found, and help your team close the gaps. We track the results from one round to the next and retune the tests to match your data.

  1. 01

    Agree the scope in writing.

Which systems are in bounds, which are off limits, the hours we may test, and the point where we stop.

  2. 02

    Run the exercise.

The red team tries the paths an attacker would. The blue team times how long your alerts and your people take to notice.

  3. 03

    Report in plain language.

What we tried, what worked, and what to fix first, written for the people who will fix it.

  4. 04

    Retest after the fix.

We run the same test on each gap you close, and call it fixed once it holds.

Common Questions

What is the difference between red team and blue team?
The red team plays the attacker and tries to get in. The blue team plays the defender and checks whether the attempt gets noticed and stopped. We run both so you see the gap and the response.
Do you test systems we did not build with you?
Yes, when you put them in scope. We test the systems you name and leave the rest alone.
Will testing break anything?
We agree the rules and the timing with you before we start, and we stop if a test puts live work at risk.
How do you secure the AI systems you build?
We limit what each system can reach, check each request on the server, and test the boundaries before launch. Our field note on security covers the details.
Where does AI fit?
We test AI systems along with the rest, including the ones we build for you: what each can reach, what it will reveal, and what happens when someone tries to misuse it. Our route with AI sets out how we build and secure AI.

Outcome

01A list of gaps, in order of what to fix first.
02A measure of how fast your team responds.
03A retest that confirms each fix.
04Someone on call when your systems change.
